[...] Erin and Michelle of Grape Juice “We’re very curious about Basque wines. Are the wines as unique as the language and culture, and if so, what sets them apart from the typical Spanish wines we’re likely to encounter? Do you yourself enjoy them? Are there any that you would recommend us trying for an introduction? I realize that’s actually about four questions, but we’re very nosy people, so I hope that’s okay.” Txakolis are typically misunderstood and under appreciated. [...]

Thanks for the great answer Ryan! We'll keep our eyes peeled for those rare Txacoli reds. Great idea with the survey, thank you for coordinating everything, we've picked up some good tips about Iberian wines.

[...] It sounded like fun, so we eagerly said we’d be happy to participate and sent in our answers. Catavino has been posting up answers from wine bloggers around the web, so head over there to see what we, and other had to say. Be sure to check out Ryan’s response to our question about Basque wines! Just our luck that he says: Unfortunately, both the red and white wines are quite rare to find outside Spain, and if you do actually come across a bottle, you most likely found the only bottle in your area. There are very few producers and very little of it has been exported. [...]
