Culinary Podcast Network - Interview on Northern Spain

Last week I had the chance to take part in The Culinary Podcasts Network’s roundtable on the Food of Northern Spain. Chef Mark, myself and my good friends from Notes from Spain got together in a Skype interview to talk about the foods and wines of Northern Spain. We covered often overlooked regions in Spain where food and wine is integral to the life people live. It was a fun time and I hope some of you take the opportunity to check it out. However, due to the move to Barcelona next week, the Catavino Podcast will be on temporary hiatus. But don’t worry, we’ll be back soon with new content. We have quite a few interviews lined up and Gabriella will be joining in on some tastings from our new rooftop terrace!

On another note…

Recently I set up a photoblog called Obiscoito. The name comes from an old nickname of mine back when I lived in Brasil. The photos are pictures that I’ve taken over the past few years up until now. My main goal is to both have a nice place to show off some of the experimenting that I’ve been doing as well as to showcase some of the work I’ve done while wandering around Iberia. Some pictures, therefore, are wine related and some are just of life as it passes by. I hope you enjoy them, and as time goes on, I’m sure the photos will grow to include more pictures of wine and food. You may even recognize a few if your a long time reader of Catavino. Let me know what you think!
