If you aren’t in the “know”, allow us to give you the heads up on rooftop tastings- they’re in! Sure, you could taste new wines while sitting on a beach, lounging in a hammock or straddling up to a bar, but we’d like to think we have something unique here in our little abode. How could you not enjoy tasting wine when the coals on the grill are hot and the sun is forever casting vibrant pastel hues? But to gain access to our little piece of heaven, you need celebrity status, and fortunately, our friend Tim from Winecast has the credentials and the stories to prove it. And although we would’ve loved to have him join us in a virtual happy dance, you’ll have to settle for some great future posts from both Catavino and Winecast on our blind, lunch and tapas tastings, along with a bodega visit we’ll embark on tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Cheers,

Ryan Opaz
