2005 J. Miquel Jané Penedès Blanc de Blancs
Xarel.lo, Chardonnay, Parellada
Steely with hints of green in the color. Fleshy on the nose though a wound a bit tight. Showing eventually some pineapple, passion fruit, and light flowers. Full in the in the mouth with the Chardonnay making it’s presence known, and an overall medium acidity. Pineapple, walnut, and some light grapefruity citurs show ont he palate, making this wine enjoyable with my roast chicken dinner!
